Health Forward announces Eusebio Díaz as vice president of strategy, learning, and communications

Kansas City, MO — Health Forward Foundation announced today that Eusebio D. Díaz, MA, has been named vice president of strategy, learning, and communications. In this role, Díaz will be a member of Health Forward’s leadership team and will lead our efforts to develop and assess highly impactful strategies, deepen our learning from our work, and sharpen our influence in the broader systems in which we work. Díaz will join Health Forward on Aug. 15, 2022.

Díaz comes to Health Forward with more than 16 years of executive-level experience in philanthropy. In his most recent role, Díaz served as chief of staff at the Episcopal Health Foundation in Houston, Texas. He also spent 13 years with the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio, most recently as vice president, programs.

Díaz’s accomplishments include developing strategic and forward-thinking solutions that drive clarity and impact across the most complex of topics, particularly in the areas of strategy, diversity, equity, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. He is also a contributor to the field of philanthropy, lending personal and lived expertise in current board membership with PEAK Grantmaking and thought leadership within the field.

In his new role at Health Forward, Díaz will provide leadership to the foundation’s cross-cutting functions which include strategy, learning, and communications, and partners in leadership accountability for embedding equity, inclusion, and antiracism as a process and an outcome throughout the organization.
