Health Forward’s statement on protecting Missouri Medicaid expansion

We are pleased the Missouri Senate did not vote to pass House Joint Resolution 117. Expanding Medicaid is crucial for eliminating injustices in health care access. It is time to focus on getting the word out to those eligible to enroll in Medicaid. It’s also time to streamline the enrollment process to resolve the significant backlog and processing delays of current applications. Health Forward stands ready to support partners in our region to connect those eligible for Medicaid with enrollment support.
