Health Forward Elects Board Officers and Members to Its Board of Directors

KANSAS CITY, MO – The Health Forward Foundation (Health Forward) has elected its 2011 Board officers and elected new members to its Board of Directors. Norman Siegel, an attorney at Stueve Siegel Hanson, was elected to a second term as the Chair of the Health Forward Board of Directors. Other newly elected officers include Karen Cox, Vice-Chair; Dr. Bernard Franklin, Secretary; and Sheilahn Davis-Wyatt, Treasurer.

Siegel and Franklin were elected to serve their second three-year term on the board. Health Forward also welcomed the following five new members to serve a three-year term:

Gena Clounch, Human Resources Consultant for Social and Rehabilitation Services, Iola, KS
Dr. Betty Drees, Dean and Professor of Medicine, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine
Edwin Galan, Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Kansas, School of Nursing
Jim Nunnelly, Retired, former Administrator, Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office/COMBAT
Peg VanWagoner, Vice President, Director, Institutional Client Strategies and Operations, American Century Investment Management
