Guided Bus Tour
October 5, 2017 @ 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
The harmful effects of food insecurity lurk at the core of many health and societal problems.
That’s why Health Forward has made it a priority to fund efforts aimed at improving access to quality foods, boosting nutritional education and solidifying the link between food security and improved health.
The solutions grantees have developed in response to the problem of food insecurity are as broad and varied as the region they serve.
We invite you to join us on a guided bus tour during which you will see firsthand how Kansas City is emerging as national leader in the fight against one of America’s most intractable problems.
