It’s here. The moment we’ve been waiting for. Health Forward’s new grant management system is now available to begin your application process.
As you know, Health Forward has been transitioning to a new system that better fits our needs and delivers a more user-friendly and efficient experience for our applicants.
Health Forward will be using the foundationConnect platform for grant applications. Among other features, applicants and grantees now have the ability to complete more grant management tasks online and to collaborate with colleagues on applications.
For Health Forward, it shows the promise of a more efficient workflow, opportunities to aggregate and analyze data, and a method for comprehensive documentation of our grantee relationships.
Here are some helpful links when using the new system for the first time:
At this time, we are prioritizing registration for any organization that is applying for a Healthy Communities Grant or for an applicant defined grant in the near future. Contact us immediately if you have not yet successfully registered.
Anyone applying for Mental Health or Safety Net funding, as well as those applying for an applicant defined grant later in the year, should wait and contact us at a time closer to submitting your application.
We also encourage anyone who did not attend our grantee information sessions in February to view our application process webinar.
Registering in the new portal
This is where it gets slightly complicated. Due to technical issues with our registration process, we are asking anyone wanting to register for the grantee portal to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will activate your account in the new system and provide you with instructions to login.
As with any new system, we anticipated some bumps in the road. The error message is probably just the first. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion and remain committed to flexibility and fairness when things go awry.
