How We Learn

Our learning and evaluation work supports Health Forward’s purpose by expanding knowledge, fostering reflection, and putting learning into action in partnership with the communities we serve. We use learning and evaluation to:

  • Gather information — both data and real-life experience — about how interventions are advancing progress toward long-term goals
  • Interpret the implications of data by leading analysis and reflection of information
  • Put learning into action by detailing insights gained to guide decision-making and inform strategy adaptations

We invite you to review evaluations of programs we have supported and other reports that inform our learning.

As an Equitable Evaluation Initiative Practice Partner, we engage in the practice of the Equitable Evaluation Framework™ (EEF), which seeks to reimagine the purpose and practice of evaluation by seeding and growing a field to advance equity, embrace complexity, and expand notions of validity, objectivity, rigor.
